Core Marketing Program Manager Role: You will be responsible for the ongoing delivery and effectiveness of a shared marketing program that spans six 529 plans and is pivotal to our division’s success. You will work with both the marketing managers of each 529 plan and as well as our lead marketing partner/agency. This is a key leadership role and your success will be measured in real business results, effective stewardship of resources, and compelling merchandising of results to state partners via marketing colleagues.

You have 5+ years marketing experience, ideally in consumer investment services working at or with marketing/advertising agency with responsibility for creative, budget and business results. You have an understanding of or interest in personal finance.
Responsibilities:
Establish Category and Program Expertise
Become steeped in college savings consumer attitudes, habits, apprehensions, misconceptions, and product strengths
Become proficient in key reporting of Core Marketing Program
Over time, propose changes to the Core Marketing Program strategies and tactics, particularly the testing of new media options that engage younger prospects
Communications and Process Facilitation
Serve as the central conduit between internal marketing professionals and agency team members, and facilitate the sharing of feedback on strategy documents and creative executions
Champion the strategic intent and anticipated results of Core Marketing Program initiatives
Provide oversite of logistics and implementation
Coordinate digital implementation and innovation with TFI Director of Digital Properties
Resource Management
Monitor consumption of agency hours and recommend adjustments as appropriate
Monitor state budget consumption to ensure overages do not occur
Propose resource reallocation to ensure projects are executed as planned
